5 Stunning Waterfalls to Visit with Odysseys Unlimited

Sheets of water cascading from cliffs, mountains, and glaciers rank among nature’s most jaw-dropping sights. Luckily, Earth hosts an abundance of these natural vistas; from Iceland to Turkey and Zambia to Argentina, below are five waterfalls you can visit on our small group tours.

1. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia

One of the world’s largest waterfalls, “Vic” falls shares a border with Zambia and Zimbabwe and has been nicknamed “The Smoke That Thunders” for its sheer size and power. Since it is a must-see attraction, we spend three nights near this wonder of the world appreciating the 300-foot-deep gorge and soaking spray on our Africa’s Wildlife and Southern Africa Odyssey tours.

2. Iguazu Falls, Argentina

Made up of 275 separate cascades, Iguazu Falls ranks as the largest broken waterfall in the world at nearly twice as tall and three times as wide as Niagara Falls. 3. Plitvice Waterfalls, Croatia

4. Seljalandsfoss, Iceland
