In this latest edition of our News & Views newsletter, we offer a variety of Odysseys- and travel-related topics that we hope provide inspiration and tips for travels of your own.
We’re especially pleased to introduce you to some Odysseys employees who returned from their training trips on tour with our guests with some exciting tales, new-found friends, and interesting “tastes” of foreign lands (fermented shark, anyone?).
On the tips front, we’ve rounded up some of the helpful tech (and tech-related) gear out there today that can help your travels go smoothly, from smartwatches and luggage trackers to vacuum-seal packing cubes and e-readers.
As for destinations, we’re excited to put the spotlight on Southeast Asia, one of the last regions to welcome travelers back since the pandemic. Read about our Southeast Asia Odyssey and Journey through Vietnam small group tours – you just might want to add them to your travel wish list. Or, if Europe beckons, you may wish to check out our Alpine Splendor small group tour (pictured above: an Odysseys group on their excursion to Gornergrat).
We’re going to keep reminding you about the new deadline that Real ID finally takes effect (it’s May 3, 2023); your valid passport will always work as ID for domestic travel but if you plan to use your license, it had better be Real ID-compliant or you’ll be out of luck.
Now, I invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy some News & Views.
Sincerely,
Bruce A. Epstein President, Odysseys Unlimited
