It’s been almost a year since we launched our first issue of News & Views, and I hope that you’ve found the articles here to be of interest, and even, of inspiration for your own travels.
Elaine and Carl Martin found inspiration for their travels some years ago when they tussled over finding their way in Europe with a fold-out map and a rental car – and 29 Odysseys tours later, they haven’t looked back.
We so enjoyed talking to some of our tour directors about their travels with Odysseys during their vacations (Summer 2019 issue), that this time around, we asked a few coworkers in our Newton office about recent and upcoming travels – and their responses were as diverse as the Himalayas and the Silk Road and Vermont and Washington, D.C.
Did someone ask about birds? While we don’t consider our trips to be birdwatching tours, a surprising number offer great opportunities for checking new species off your list, as you’ll read below.
And what would a December missive be without talk of winter holidays? From Christmas to winter solstice celebrations, we present some of the most interesting festivities from around the world.
On that note, along with everyone here at Odysseys Unlimited, we extend our best wishes for a joyous holiday season and a peaceful year ahead.
Sincerely,
Bruce A. Epstein President, Odysseys Unlimited
