Losing a pair of eyeglasses on vacation can put a damper on even the most exciting of adventures – but when tour director Fattah Bouchekhbat is on the case, there’s no need to worry!
Last month, we welcomed guest Barbara Montagu-Pollock on Moroccan Discovery – her first tour with Odysseys Unlimited – and between visits to historical sites, a Sahara camel ride, and so much more, she “totally enjoyed all aspects of the tour.”
Unfortunately, when the group stopped to look at the stars during the camel ride, her eyeglasses somehow fell out of her bag. Barbara told her tour director, Fattah Bouchekhbat, that she had lost her glasses even though she never expected to see them again. Fattah, though, sprang into action and saved the day.
“A day later when we were at our next stop, Ouarzazate, Fattah told me that they had found my glasses. Apparently one of the drivers of the 4x4 had gone back to the spot I had described and found them. At this point I thought that they might be sent to me on my return to the States. Much to my surprise, two days later Fattah appeared with my glasses. Everyone in our group [was as] amazed as I was. We still haven't figured out how Fattah managed to have them delivered to us in Marrakech. I really can't say enough about the kind, warm manner of this wonderful man.”
