Biba Galjanic delights in introducing Odysseys' guests to Croatia, to the "...serenity, relaxed atmosphere, simplicity of life, and beauty of the landscapes."
Though unable to lead tours last year, Biba remained passionate about showcasing her homeland, and even put together a few videos to offer all of us a virtual glimpse into her world. Below, she takes us on a walking tour of seaside Opatija, her favorite place in all of Croatia:
"My biggest reward being a TD is when I see how the experience of being in my part of the world literally changes people's lives for the better," she explains. "And as much as it changes their lives, my life feels richer for it, as well...no other job can ever come close to that feeling of contentment."

On tour, Biba especially enjoys "...showing guests the majestic wall of Dubrovnik, exploring the small corners of Trogir's old town, sipping local wine in a family-run wine cellar on dreamy Hvar island..." And while at home, she's been known to spend time in the kitchen, whipping up a few local delicacies:
When not leading tours, Biba spends time visiting Croatia's many wine and food fairs, hiking in the nearby mountains, and walking dogs at her local SPCA. And otherwise, "I dream, think, and breathe travel - Africa being my favorite unexplored destination!"
