What a difference a few months can make! Since our last newsletter in early February of this year, millions of Americans have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. And, we’ve successfully run our first tours since the pandemic stopped us all in our tracks some 15 months ago.
As you can see in the photo above, the first departure of Exploring Iceland in late May produced a small group of very happy travelers, as have departures of National Parks of the Southwest, The American West, and Untamed Alaska. And we’re planning for more later this summer.
With our enhanced COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines for global travel, we feel confident in operating those tours where we can safeguard the health of our guests, Tour Directors, and coach drivers.
It’s not only our guests who have been waiting to resume their travels; the same goes for Odysseys employees and Tour Directors. As we wait for the whole world to open back up, some staffers tell us about their dream destinations in the article below.
